Jay is working on projects with Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Guilty Simpson & Mos Def?! Jeez! No complaints from me. Ha!

Jay Electronica explains to Distortion 2 Static that it does not bother him when other MC’s jump on the instrumental to Exhibit C.

MTV Reports: “All my dreams are coming true all across the board for some reason,” Jay Electronica said via phone from London. Jay — who’s on the other side of the pond headlining shows — just celebrated his daughter Mars’ first birthday (mom is Erykah Badu) and his hometown team the New Orleans Saints just won the Super Bowl. Plus his career is on the upswing; life is good.

Jay’s Just Blaze-produced “Exhibit C” is one of those special hip-hop records that you hear and instantly love. An independent release, it’s garnering heavy rotation on major radio stations like New York’s Hot 97, and in the streets and on the Internet the record has the buzz of a #1 single. Several MCs from Capone-N-Noreaga to Cassidy have freestyled over the track on mixtapes and Diddy, Mos Def, Nas, Q-Tip and Talib Kweli have been publicly co-signing Electronica. The record is definitely his breakthrough.”

Jay Electronica & Mos Def tore it down at the Independent and luckily BMuse was there to capture it all.

Jay Electronica stopped by The Takeover radio show with The Los Angeles Leakers last week and discussed the upcoming Superbowl and his dislike for P. Manning.

Real hip-hop! I’m glad this is taking off on the radio!

Jay Electronica was in Brooklyn last night tearing down the stage of the Knitting Factory.  During his performance he brought out Talib Kweli & Mos Def to perform “Just Begun.” UPDATE: I have posted up Miss Info’s footage of the “Just Begun” performance.  Watch the rest of the performance after the jump!  Spotted at Rapradar.

Here is a trailer for Jay Electronica’s Exhibit A, directed byJason Goldwatch of Decon.  Some of the footage was captured in Nepal while they were shooting “Dear Moleskine” but Jay Electronica informed Nation that they also used footage from their trip to Dubai.
